One of the best parts of the holiday season is dinner with family and friends! The evenings get darker earlier, but they are cozy and warm. An exciting dinner with new and familiar ingredients makes for a great night and a conversation starter as well. “How did you make this?” “What unique ingredients did you use?”

Well… I used Coca Cola Cinnamon IN my recipe! …and to drink? Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry and Simply Orange Punch.

It’s long been known Coca-Cola is great for a marinade, but I wanted to spice it up this time and use Coca-Cola Cinnamon. Coca-Cola is the #1 brand of the holidays and Cinnamon is the top spice of the holidays. It makes everything you create feel and taste that much warmer. Cinnamon is one of those ingredients that goes well in most anything – sweet and savory alike.

I created a savory recipe, a main dish, which uses Coca-Cola Cinnamon to spice it up for the Holiday season!

It was wonderful, more like amazing. It hit all the notes of fall and is an amazing main dish for a gathering of friends and family. It’s so unique and different. It has sweet notes from the apples and spiced notes from the Coca-Cola Cinnamon. It’s the perfect combination. Not to mention, the house smells just like the holidays from the fantastic aromas from the longer cooking process.

First, get out your crock-pot and start with a pork shoulder and everything you need to make the sweet and spicy marinade.

Salt

Pepper

Coca-Cola Cinnamon

Apples

Chicken stock

Cinnamon

Yellow Onion

Start with the pork shoulder and liberally sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Next, I recommend to pan-sear it and brown it on all sides before putting it in the crock-pot.

Once this step is done, place your pork shoulder in the crock-pot and open your Coca-Cola Cinnamon and pour it over your pork shoulder. Chop your apples and slice your onions and add to the crock-pot along with the chicken stock and cinnamon. Set your crock-pot and let it cook for ——– hours.

When it is finished cooking, take the pork shoulder out and place it on a sheet tray and shred it. To make it even more amazing, place it under the broiler and crisp it up.

In the meantime, the scrumptious sauce can be made from the ingredients from the crock-pot. Place it all in the blender and blend until smooth.

Perfection!

A wonderful meal needs a great drink for kids and adults alike. I decided to make a bright, tasty punch made with Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry, Simply Orange and Cranberry juice. Definitely a crowd pleaser. The Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry gives it a little kick that will keep guests guessing what the not-so-secret ingredient is.

Coca-Cola has a wide variety of options that appeal to every age and it naturally brings everyone together.

Moments with loved ones are already special, but the #1 brand for the Holidays, Coca-Cola, will bring a touch of magic!
