This fluffy peanut butter mousse is incredible by the spoonful, I could actually eat it all in one sitting it’s so amazing, but it is also so versatile. Make it the star or pair with other sweet ingredients. In its most basic form, make it gorgeous by piping it into a cute dish with a star tip. And don’t be afraid to add other ingredients to it or add it to other desserts. Add peanuts if you so desire for some texture and extra peanut flavor or simply use chunky peanut butter!

Let’s Make Some Peanut Butter Mousse

In a stand mixer with the whip attachment start by creaming the cream cheese. Whip until fluffy and smooth.

Next, add the peanut butter. Once completely incorporated, add the powdered sugar and vanilla.

Set aside. In a different bowl whip the cream until light and fluffy. Fold it into the peanut butter mixture slowly not to deflate the cream. Next, enjoy any way you’d like!

Swirled Peanut Butter Mousse


  • Use room temperature cream cheese. It’ll cream better and won’t leave any lumps.
  • Whip the heavy cream until medium peaks form, the cream will hold its shape but slightly fall when you pull the whisk out. Be careful not to over whip.
  • When folding the cream into the peanut butter mixture, use and spatula and mix in scraping bowl from the middle to the edge in a circular motion.

  • 8 Oz. Cream Cheese Room Temperature
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 8 Oz. Heavy Whipping Cream


  1. With a mixer, cream the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract and peanut butter and mix into the cream cheese until completely incorporated. Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until it’s light, fluffy and medium peaks form.

  4. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Use immediately or refrigerate until needed. Enjoy!
