Bacon Bacon Brussel Sprouts

  • 3-4 Cups Whole Brussel Sprouts You can also use halves or pre-sliced as well
  • 3-4 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Slices Cooked Bacon
  • 1 Tsp Granulated Garlic
  • Salt to Taste
  • Pepper to Taste
  • Bacon Grease (optional!)

  1. Take Brussel Sprouts and wash them well - dry thoroughly - set aside

  2. Start cooking bacon and cook until your desired doneness

  3. While bacon is cooking, slice bottoms off Brussel Sprouts

  4. Slice Brussel Sprouts into approximately 1/4" slices and place in a large skillet with a lid

  5. Add Olive Oil to skillet and cover - place on medium heat - you'll want to cook covered for at least 20 minutes to soften them up.

  6. Keep covered, but stir every 5 or so minutes to make sure they cook and brown evenly

  7. Take bacon and dice it

  8. Place bacon into Brussel Sprouts and cook 5 additional minutes - add some bacon grease for an extra bacon-y kick if you so desire!

  9. Add granulated garlic, salt to taste and pepper to taste

  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
